H&M Moves into Melbourne GPO

"I gots to get me to Melbourne..."

The words I uttered when I found out that Swedish mega retailer H&M would be opening it's very first Australian store in Melbourne next month. H&M, the juggernaut. 5,000 square metres of more current than an instant, insanely affordable and trend-driven goodness to be set up at Melbourne's iconic GPO. True story.

If you've ever been to Europe, Stateside, and more recently Asia, you will have stumbled into a H&M store, and more than likely, strode triumphantly out those doors with bags full of fashionable loot - no doubt lamenting the fact that there is nothing like it in Australia. Lament no more! While Melbourne gets first dibs, judging by it's astronomical expansion of late, Sydney won't be too far behind.

The kind Swedish folk have even specially designed an “Australia Exclusive Collection”, available in store at opening and features 47 limited pieces of apparel and accessories for both men and women.
