The lowdown: Sydney’s newest commercial art gallery is bringing works by some of the most-exciting street artists from around the world and Australia to Sydney. Woollahra based .M Contemporary is creating a buzz in the art world with a major new street art exhibition, which reflects the raw creativity and craftsmanship of cutting-edge artists in Australia and across the globe. Running 22 March to 27 April, From the Streets opens with a live public art making event on 22 March featuring some of Australia’s most prominent street artists co-presented with aMBUSH gallery. Featuring leading street artists from North and South America, Europe, and Australia, the exhibition also highlights the diversity of genres and practices that artists employ on the streets. From the Streets is made up of new and existing works by vastly different artists.
