Rekorderlig Cider & Aquabumps Gallery

It’s official… summer is nearly over and today's weather here in Sydney has been a swift reminder of this. Over the past few months, some of our favourite brands have celebrated a cracking summer by hosting events that highlight everything that's amazing about the warmer months. During the summer of 2013/14, Rekorderlig Cider fans were invited to capture their perfect summer Rekorderlig moment, inviting them to share a beautifully Swedish photo on Instagram which most signifies and celebrates Rekorderlig in summertime, using the hashtag #CelebrateTheSummer. From sun kissed sunsets to stunning weekend getaways, these photographs perfectly captured the essence of summer from around Australia and other parts of the world.

On Tuesday night, Rekorderlig Cider hosted a beautiful exhibition at the iconic Aquabumps Gallery in Bondi for an intimate group including media, to celebrate with the winners from all states including Perth and Adelaide, photographers and friends of the gallery. The exhibition showcased the winning images from the #CelebrateTheSummer Instagram competition, displaying all 28 photographs throughout the gallery. The overall winner was Christian Anstey, who was presented with a beautiful Aquabumps original framed photograph by Eugene Tan.

Rekorderlig Ciders were served to all guests, including the ever-popular Strawberry-Lime and the recently released summer favourite, Apple-Guava. Stunning Swedish-inspired canapés were roving continuously throughout the evening, including a selection of cheeses with Rekorderlig Cider relish, Swedish meatball sliders and salted caramel and coconut melting moments for something sweet at the end, prepared by Sammy & Bella from My Kitchen Rules.
