Espresso Cocktails
I love a good coffee. So, so much.
It's part of my every day and is one of the many things I go hunting for when I'm discovering new places. But you all knew that already! What some of you may not know, is that I am not much of a drinker. So when I started planning my sister's bridal shower that was themed "Around the World", I called in the experts to help me create a custom cocktail menu.
Serve It Up Sydney owner Antoin Safi is a great friend of mine. We went to school together and stayed in touch well after graduation - and I'm glad I did. On Sunday, Antoin shook, blended, and spritzed his way into the hearts of 90 women that sang his praises during, and well after the event. From fruity to minty, citrusy to milky, every cocktail Antoin created was a complete hit with our guests and had them back at the bar all afternoon. Antoin shared with me the recipe for the Manhattan inspired Lattini that he created especially for the event.
So here are two recipes, especially for the coffee lover. Enjoy!
Antoin's Lattini Recipe
In a shaker, combine the following:
30 ml Galliano Ristretto 30 mls Khalua 15 mls Frangelico A dash of milk 30 ml espresso coffee (or 1 teaspoon of instant coffee)
Shake vigourously over ice.
Strain into a chilled martin glass. As you get to the end of the pour, tilt the cocktail shaker side to side to get a nice layer of froth on top.
Garnish with some chocolate Persian fairy floss.

30ml Galliano Ristretto 30ml Galliano Vanilla 30ml espresso coffee (or 1 teaspoon of instant coffee)
